Are you a CEO, Head Teacher, or School Leader with a successful track record thinking about moving into consultancy? Or an existing consultant interested in joining our team?
Talk to our team at Edwin People and we’ll share the benefits of joining our supportive associate community.
When contemplating retirement or moving on from school leadership, you may be considering consultancy, but unsure about the next steps. Our team at Edwin People will help to make this transition as smooth and as enjoyable as possible, whilst offering interesting assignments that play to your strengths and expertise.
Here are a few reasons why school leaders choose to work with us here at Edwin People:
Culture – at Edwin People, our focus is on doing the right thing through our growing collective of like-minded education professionals, working together to positively impact the lives of young people.
People – as an independent consultant, it can feel lonely at times and that’s why in joining the Edwin People team you’ll get all the joy of working with like-minded people, without the line management responsibilities of the past! Also, we are a fun and friendly bunch, who like to make sure that our work offers purpose and pleasure. As part of our team, you are free to use our national network of offices and draw upon our team for advice support and a friendly chat over a coffee.
Reputation – we pride ourselves on building and sustaining a reputation of delivering quality first services.
Influence - you’ll have opportunities to help us shape our future in terms of how we design and deliver services to school leaders, as well as contribute to our developing thought leadership programme.
Personal & professional development – you’ll have the opportunity to broaden your experience and challenge yourself. Learning from our team of experts with their large amount of education experience, you’ll get the opportunity to work with new people and make a real difference.
Flexibility – you can choose to do as much or as little work as you choose, our scheduling system will allow us to see your availability and book projects on days that work for you.
Sales – selling your services can feel uncomfortable right? We work with circa 5,000 schools nationally so we will do all the heavy lifting and promote and sell your expert services to a range of existing clients where we already have warm and trusted relationships.
Administration - from dealing with the proposal and client contract to invoicing and credit control, we’ll deal with the burdensome elements that free you up to be an outstanding consultant to our clients.
Payment – we’ll make sure you are paid promptly so that you don’t have to chase schools and trusts directly for payment.
Technology – we’ll arrange an Edwin People email account and secure space so that all client records are stored compliantly and within our data security protocols.
Once you’ve decided to become an Edwin People associate, we will make the process as simple as possible.
